Callan 34 is a professional 4 1/2 octave 34 string lever harp fitted with “Alliance Savarez” carbon fibre strings. The 10 bass strings are steel wound with a nylon core.

Every individual harp is also fitted with a full set of Camac sharpening levers and comes with a custom made harp bag.

Using different species of wood will produce different tones in a harp, from bright to mellow. As well as that, wood colour will vary dramatically (from pale to dark) when choosing between different natural wood species like ash, beech, cherry, walnut, birch, elm, sycamore, yew, hornbeam, maple, alder or rosewood. Picking a specific colour based on a particular wood species will give each harp a unique look.

For Irish-based customers, visiting the workshop to try the different models available or to design your own harp is highly recommended. Details on the Contact page.
